Dr Taylor Smith
Senior Osteopath
With a lifelong involvement in sport, Taylor brings a practical understanding of movement, injury and the demands of an active lifestyle to his treatment.
About Taylor
Taylor has been a valued member of the Osteopathic Works team since 2010. He takes a hands-on, direct approach to treatment, using a combination of soft tissue therapy, stretching, trigger point release, joint mobilisation and manipulation to help restore movement and reduce pain.
In addition to traditional Osteopathic treatment, Taylor is trained in Dry Needling and Shockwave Therapy, which he incorporates when appropriate to support recovery and improve function.
Having been actively involved in sport throughout his life, including basketball, football, cricket and snowboarding, Taylor has developed a strong understanding of the demands placed on the body. These days, much of his spare time is spent on the golf course, where he is a long-term member and former captain of Eastwood Golf Club.
Taylor has experience treating a wide range of patients, from elite athletes and professional golfers to weekend warriors and office workers. He has particular interests in neck and shoulder pain, lower back pain and hip-related conditions.
